Sizes

BILSTEIN supplies precision rolled strip steels in coils, oscillated wound spools and cut-to-length sheets.

Coils:

Thickness: .0016” – .470” (0.04 – 12.00 mm)
Width: 0.20” – 25.60” (5 – 650 mm)
Coil ID: standard: 20” (500 mm); upon request: 11.8”, 16”, 23.6”<br />and 31.5” (300, 400, 600 and 800mm)
Coil OD: max. 74” (1,870mm)
Coil weight: max. 1120 lbs. PIW (max. 20 Kg per mm strip width)

Oscillated wound coils:

Oscillated winding is a procedure whereby narrow strips are welded together end to end in the winding process to from a single, large coil. Oscillated wound coils can reach weights up to 11,000 lbs., each providing a significant increase in productivity by reducing time required for coil changes.

Thickness: .016” – 0.216” (0.40 – 5.50 mm)
Width: 0.32” – 3.15” (8 – 80 mm)
Spool ID: 16” or 20” (400 or 500 mm)
Spool OD: max. 45.67” (max. 1,160 mm)
Spool width: 5.90” – 23.62” (150 – 600 mm)
Spool weight: max. 11,000 lbs. (max. 5,000 kg)

Cut-to-length sheets:

Thickness: .016” – 0.157” (0.40 – 4.00 mm)
Width: 0.20” – 25.60” (5 – 650 mm)
Length: 20.00” – 196.85” (500 – 5,000 mm)
